The NCP1095 is an IEEE.3bt, IEEE 802.3af and/or IEEE 802.3at compliant Power over Ethernet Device (PoE-PD) interface controller, enabling the development of high power applications such as connected lighting and security cameras. The NCP1095 combines all functions in one PoE system, such as detection, classification and current limiting in the inrush phase. The NCP1095 can deliver output voltages up to 90 W using an external pass transistor. The NCP1095 also provides auto-classification support for optimal power allocation based on PD type and class.
